How to tell 200 years of research history in just a few minutes?

For the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, we developed and produced the opening film for the 2026 Annual Conference, which—in honor of the UNESCO commemorative year—links the legacy of Joseph von Fraunhofer with today’s innovations. The film traces the arc from Fraunhofer’s groundbreaking discoveries to the innovations that shape the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft today.

In addition to the online version, a version specifically designed for the stage was created in close collaboration with Neumann & Müller. Together with an elaborate laser installation surrounding the historic Fraunhofer refractor, it served as the emotional opening of the 2026 annual conference.

An English-language online-version was also produced for international use.
